Joint tenancies
A joint tenancy is where two people share equal responsibility for paying the rent and the other responsibilities of the tenancy agreement.
If you just need a friend or relative to be able to contact us on your behalf, for example to report repairs, you don’t need to add them as a joint tenant. You can give them authority to act on your behalf.
If you just want to tell us that someone’s moved in or out of your home, just complete the add or remove an occupant form.
