In early 2012 we launched e-learning across the business with our provider Housing e-Academy. E-learning enables our staff to undertake training at a time that suits them and is offered alongside traditional classroom based training to give staff greater choice when it comes to their learning and development.
We were delighted to win the Housing e-Academy Virtual Award 2012 for Most sucessful roll out strategy of our employee E-Learning courses. Find out more about E-Learning or watch the award presentation video on YouTube.
Institute of Customer Service (ICS)
We are in the process of rolling out ‘First Impressions’ customer service training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) to all staff without line management responsibilities. This training not only ensures that we maintain extremely high standards of customer care across the business but also provides those successfully completing it with individual membership to the ICS. Managers and team leaders are also given the opportunity to attend ‘Service Management’ training while there is also the option to pursue Professional Qualifications through the ICS.
