Remembering Grenfell

A minute’s silence will be held across the UK on Thursday 14 June 2018 at 12 noon in remembrance of those who lost their lives and all others that were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire one year ago.

We are proud providers of social housing and the safety of our customers is extremely important to us. With the tragedy at the forefront of a lot of our minds, we understand that customers and their families may have concerns about their own fire safety. All our blocks of flats have a fire safety testing in place that’s undertaken by qualified people who’s work we test and check regularly to make sure we’re doing all we can to keep customers safe and well.

We also make sure that work we do to improve fire safety and all health and safety equipment is regularly tested and inspected as part of our approach to maintaining our properties. In addition, we work in partnership with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue who are happy to carry out a visit to your home and give advice on fire safety.

Residents can help us to improve fire safety in their building by keeping communal areas clear and keeping fire safety doors shut.  Please let us know immediately if you have any concerns and take any communications from us about fire safety in your building seriously.

We’ve produced a list Frequently Asked Questions to help reassure anyone who has any concerns.
