Cookies used by our CMS
We use a Content Management System (CMS) from VerseOne Technologies Ltd. to build our website. The CMS does not use any cookies by default. However, three ‘session’ cookies are created when a visitor to this website does the following:
- logs in
- uses some of the accessibility tools such as clicking the contrast or text resize buttons
The three cookies are used to cross-reference each other for improved security.
First part ‘session’ cookies
|Persist||2 hours||Anonymous||Remembers that the user has chosen a high contrast or low contrast stylesheet.|
Caches data against the session in order to maximise performance.
|JSESSIONID||Session||Browser close||Username||When a user logs in, maintains authentication state, access rights, etc.|
These cookies do not store any personal information about you, your computer, your visit, or your browsing history. After the time indicated above, the cookies’ validity is destroyed and the browser is instructed to remove the cookie from your computer.
Like most websites, we make use of analytics software in order to help us understand the trends in the popularity of our website. We make no use of personally identifiable information in any of the statistical reports we use from this package but we might collect general information such as the type of web browsers used or which pages are visited more than others. With this data, we analyse site trends and make sure that our pages are as helpful to you as possible.
To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites, visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
