Another step closer to becoming one organisation

Earlier this year, we asked all Settle residents to share their views on a proposed change that would bring Settle fully into Paradigm Housing Group. This process, known as a Transfer of Engagements, would mean Settle becoming part of Paradigm Homes Charitable Housing Association Limited. This would create one organisation, allowing us to deliver more for residents and local communities.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part in the consultation.

The consultation process

The consultation ran from 13 April to 22 May 2026.

We contacted all residents with information about the proposed change, including a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. We also held four community drop-in events where residents could speak to us in person. Questions raised at these in-person events were mainly about service charges, estate services and rent increases.

Most feedback was received online. We received 129 survey responses, along with a small number of emails and phone calls. Most questions related to individual circumstances and could be answered using information already provided in the FAQs.

For any residents who said they did not fully understand what the proposed change would mean for them, we contacted them directly to answer their questions and provide further information.

What happens next?

We are now reviewing all feedback received. We will write to residents at the end of August 2026 to confirm the outcome of the consultation and explain the next steps.

We remain committed to improving services and investing in our communities. Your rights, including rents and service charges, whether you are a tenant, shared owner or leaseholder, will continue to be protected.

Subject to approval by respective Boards and Special General Meetings, the Transfer of Engagements is expected to take place on 30 September 2026.

We will continue to keep residents updated as plans progress.
