Announcement from SettleParadigm CEO Matthew Bailes
We have announced today that Matthew Bailes will be stepping down as CEO of SettleParadigm, due to some ongoing health issues.
Matthew has been making a good recovery from illness that started last year but is unable to return to full-time work just yet. He has reluctantly reached the conclusion, and agreed with the Board, that it is in his best interests, and that of the business, that he steps down.
SettleParadigm Chair, Richard Moriarty, said: “Matthew has been an inspirational leader and on behalf of the Board, I want to express our sincere thanks for his role in helping to create a successful organisation. Matthew’s health must be his first priority and we wish him every success for his full recovery.”
Matthew, who joined Paradigm Housing group as CEO in 2015, will remain at SettleParadigm until his successor is in post. The deputy CEO, Nicola Ewen, will continue to be the acting CEO until a new permanent CEO is in place.
Richard says: “We have a very strong and capable executive team (led by Nicola Ewen as acting CEO) who have led the organisation well during the period in which Matthew has been recovering from his illness. This has included maintaining high standards of operational and financial performance, notwithstanding the delivery of a major integration and change programme.
“The Board is confident that they will continue to lead the organisation well, while the process of recruiting our next CEO takes place.”
