Designate Leadership Roles announced for proposed Settle-Paradigm merger

As Paradigm and Settle continue their merger discussions, we can now confirm some designate Executive and Board appointments.

Congratulations to: Dean Anderson, Designate Executive Director Customer Services, Justin McCarthy, Designate Executive Director Property, Martyn Jones, Designate Executive Director Development and Regeneration and Sarah Nickson Chartered FCIPD, Designate Executive Director People, Strategy and Corporate Services.

These appointments follow those announced in April: Designate Chair, Richard Moriarty, Designate Senior Independent Director (SID),Sally Veitch, Designate CEO, Matthew Bailes and Designate CFO, Nicola Ewen.

The post of Designate Chief Information Officer will be decided soon.

Matthew Bailes said: “The merger is yet to be approved by our two Boards, but I’m confident we have the right mix of skills and experience to lead the new organisation, if the merger goes ahead. For the time being, it’s business as usual as we continue to run our operations, while working together on the proposal to form a new organisation that builds on the best of Settle and Paradigm.”

The following Designate Board members can now also be announced:
Duncan Brown, Andrew Foster and Danny Sutcliffe – all current Settle Board members.
And:
Mike Johnson, Simon Jones, Amina Graham, Helen Evans, Paul Phillips and Richard Osborne- current Paradigm Board members.

The Boards of both Settle and Paradigm are due to make a final decision about the merger later this year and work towards full integration in 2026/27.
