Resident elected as Chair of the Voice of the Resident Panel

The Voice of the Resident (VoR) Panel is made up of residents from different backgrounds who work with Settle colleagues and Board members. They share ideas, ask questions, and bring local knowledge and lived experience. Their feedback helps us focus on what matters most to residents and improve the services we provide.
Annette was elected as Chair of the panel in April, becoming the first resident to take on this role. This shows how residents continue to play a leading part in shaping decisions and making sure that any changes and improvements we make reflect the needs and priorities of the neighbourhoods we work in.
Linsay Baverstock, our Head of People and Resident Experience shared:
Annette has been a committed member of the panel, always focused on making sure residents are listened to and their views are acted on. We’re proud of the difference the panel has made so far, and we’re looking forward to working together over the next year.
We caught up with Annette recently about becoming Chair, what it means to her, what she’s most proud of, and what she’s looking forward to next.
