SettleParadigm announces appointment of new Group CIO

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Medlycott as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) of SettleParadigm. In this role he will be responsible for leading the Technology, Digital and Data strategy at SettleParadigm. His remit is to ensure the organisation is supported by modern, secure and scalable platforms to underpin excellent services, operational efficiency and a seamless resident and colleague experience.

Martin joins SettleParadigm after serving as CIO and Data Protection Officer at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH). At MTVH Martin was responsible for designing and delivering a major transformation programme following a merger, modernised core systems, strengthened cyber and data governance, and introduced new IT capabilities.

Martin said: “I’m genuinely passionate about using technology to drive sustainable growth and measurable impact. My focus is always on elevating customer experience, developing high-performing teams, and enabling innovation that delivers real value. The opportunity with SettleParadigm brings all of that together, especially with the transformation ahead following the merger and the exciting future growth ambitions. Martin also brings extensive experience across multiple sectors including housing, media, technology, and professional services. He has held senior leadership roles at organisations including DC Thomson / Findmypast, Thomson Reuters, GroupM and Centrica, where he led large-scale digital change, technology strategy and operational modernisation. Alongside his executive role, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Coin Street Community Builders.
