Investing in the Grange, Letchworth

We have been keeping residents on Western Way, Orchard Close and Pelican Way in the Grange neighbourhood updated on our investment proposals for the area.

We are currently reviewing plans, in particular to join up with other developments that are being planned in the area like proposals being taken forwards by Letchworth Heritage Foundation for the LG1 site, located on land to the north of the Grange.

We are still committed to investing in new homes around Western Way, Orchard Way and Pelican Way, but it’s going to take longer than we first intended.

We have explained to residents that we are going to carry out surveys to some of our properties, so we have up to date details on the homes. We expect those surveys to take place during the summer of 2024. We won’t need to go into all homes, but we will make sure we complete enough surveys to give a detailed understanding across the range of buildings. We’ll contact residents directly to arrange any surveys needed.

Repairs and support

We will continue carrying out repairs to all properties, communal spaces and commercial spaces that we are responsible for until the buildings are updated. We urge residents to let us know at any time if there is a repair or work needed to your home.
