Update following public meeting on 21 October
Thank you to all residents who attended our public meeting at the Priory School in Hitchin on Monday 21 October. The meeting was attended by councillors and representatives from settle. We all received valuable feedback on the plans that have been put forward to redevelop John Barker Place and proposals to provide a new children’s play area on the edge of Swinburne playing fields.
Planning application review in public
We have submitted two separate planning applications – one for the redevelopment of John Barker Place and a separate proposal to provide the new children’s play area on the edge of Swinburne playing fields. Councillors confirmed that these will be reviewed in public by the planning control committee at North Hertfordshire District Council (NHDC). Members of the public will be able to attend this meeting and provide feedback on the planning proposals.
The meeting will be held by NHDC at their offices on Gernon Road in Letchworth Garden City.
