Need help with rent, food or heating?

Updated 22 December

Our role at settle goes beyond being a landlord, especially, during these times of COVID-19. We know that this can also be a stressful time of year for many, particularly as we move into the colder months. If you need additional support, we can help with your rent and other essential things like food and heating.

If there’s any way we might be able to support you, please call us on 0330 343 0016. We’ll consider your personal circumstances to find the best ways we can help.

Here are details of some other services you might also find helpful:

You could be entitled to Healthy Start Vouchers worth £3.10 per child per week if you are at least 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under the age of four. The vouchers can be spent on milk, instant formula milk, and plain, fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables. Phone for a form on 0345 607 6823.

Citizens’ Advice North Herts can also provide free one- to -one advice on energy, help you to review gas and electricity usage and switch to cheaper providers or tariffs. If you think you might benefit from the service, contact Tom Hogan on 07889 806 430 or email hogant@nhdcab.org.uk.

Your wellbeing

If you’re struggling to cope or have other concerns, we can help with issues affecting your wellbeing in lots of areas or direct you to organisations who can.
