Fire safety reminders
Our priority is to keep residents safe in your home.
If you live in a block of flats, please make sure you aware of your fire evacuation procedure.
You’ll find it printed on notice boards in the entrance hallway.
If you can’t see the fire evacuation procedure in your block of flats, please let us know.
It’s also a legal requirement that landlords like settle ensure all homes – flats and houses – have a working smoke alarm on every habitable floor and carbon monoxide alarm in rooms with a fuel-burning appliance. We’ve been working with our teams and partners to make sure these are in place. If you think your home is not protected with a working smoke or carbon-monoxide alarm, please let us know so we can fit the required alarms as a priority.
