Green Panel update

Our Green Panel held their most recent meeting on Tuesday, 28 November as part of quarterly meetups.

The panel is made up of residents who work with us on our programme to make homes more energy efficient and ensure we’re working to achieve our sustainability goals.

We were delighted to be joined by new panel member Rebecca, and Chloe and Doina from Wates at the meeting.

Wates are working with us to deliver our energy efficiency social housing decarbonisation fund programme and bring 677 homes up to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating C.

Wates’ Resident Liaison Officer, Chloe and Divisional Customer Service Manager, Doina updated the panel on the work they are doing. There was a really valuable discussion with the panel about the best ways to support residents while these works are being carried out in homes, along with advice on improving the content and messages we use with tenants.

The next Green Panel meeting will take place in January 2024.

Did you know that homes in the UK cause 25% of carbon emissions?

Would you like to join the Green Panel and make a difference? We are looking for more panel members. Interested? Have a look at our get involved page, where you can find out more and fill out an application form.
