Stock condition surveys in Westmill
We are currently carrying out stock condition surveys in the Westmill neighbourhood. As your landlord, we complete these surveys every five years to make sure homes remain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
As part of these surveys, a Settle colleague may need to visit your home to assess what future investment might be required. If your home is due to be surveyed, we’ll send you a letter in advance, followed by a phone call to arrange a convenient appointment time.
The visit usually takes around an hour and includes checking all rooms for things like insulation, gas and electrical systems, bathrooms, kitchens, windows and external doors. For houses, we’ll also check the roof, chimney, guttering and outside walls.
Our surveyors will always carry Settle branded photographic ID with their name. Residents can always call us to confirm if they are unsure.
