Lifestone Homes hosts Emma Reynolds MP at new development “The Birches”, High Wycombe

Emma Reynolds, MP for Wycombe, and Chief Secretary for the Treasury, visited the final stages of construction at our Birches new development on Desborough Road.

Emma first visited the site in May 2025 when she helped us break-ground on the site -and was back to see what we’ve achieved.

The site offers two and three-bedroom houses for sale under the shared ownership scheme. Each has parking, car charging plug-in points, air source heat pumps and modern Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery systems, making them highly sustainable homes with lower carbon footprints and lower energy consumption.

“It’s great to be back here today to see 22 new homes, all with highly efficient heat pumps, and to see them near to completion, weeks away from families moving in” says Emma.

“Lifestone has already had interest from local families in a number of these shared ownership properties, so it’s wonderful to see that we have this development to make sure that more local families can put down roots in my constituency.”

Martyn Jones, Lifestone’s Executive Director for Development and Regeneration joined Emma for the trip. He said: “Lifestone’s vision for the future is one where everyone has a safe and secure place to live their lives. That’s no small ambition, but by providing homes like these, we’re taking steps to give people the firm foundations they need to live their lives. We can’t wait to welcome our first residents here in the coming weeks.”
