North Herts College, Hitchin. We’re pleased to be working with CALA Homes to provide 11 homes for affordable rent and six for shared ownership which are due to be completed for residents to move into in April.
Royston, Hertfordshire. This large development with Vistry Group will provide 103 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership. Phase 1 and 2 have been completed and work is expected to start soon on Phase 3.
Bessemer Road, Welwyn Garden City. We will soon be offering a selection of 33 affordable homes as part of the section of 106 on the new Crest Nicholson development in Welwyn Garden City, including 18 for shared ownership and 15 for social rent. Most of the homes have been completed with the remainder expected in spring.
Comet Way, Hatfield. We will be developing 118 homes, including 28 for social rent and 90 for shared ownership.
Regeneration of John Barker Place, Westmill Estate, Hitchin. Work had started on Phase 2 of the redevelopment at John Barker Place. Sadly, our development partner, Jarvis Contracting has gone into administration and work has now stopped on site. The development remains a priority for us and we are beginning discussions with other partners who will be able to complete the development work for us. We will restart development work as soon as possible during the next few months. 24-hour security will remain in place on-site until works restart.
Castlefield, Preston. We will be developing 7 new homes with Osprey Homes, 5 for social rent and 2 for shared ownership.
Burford Grange, Ickleford. In partnership with CALA Homes, we will be developing 19 new homes which will include 12 for social rent and 7 for shared ownership.
St Onslow School, Hatfield. We will be delivering 17 new homes with our partners Durkan – 14 for social rent and 3 for shared ownership.
Windmill Close, Barkway. We have almost completed 8 new homes which will be handed over in April – 5 for social rent and 3 for shared ownership.
Whittington Way, Bishop Stortford. In partnership with Bellway we are developing 95 new homes. First handovers are due in March with a phased handover expected over the next 18-24 months. 64 of the homes are for social rent and 31 for shared ownership.
Burton Lane, Goffs Oak. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Bellway on 26 new homes with the first handovers expected in March. There will be a phased handover with the final homes due in September/October. 17 homes are for social rent and 9 for shared ownership.
Dark Lane, Cheshunt. Working with our partners at Chalkdene we are developing 20 new homes at this scheme- 13 for social rent and 7 for shared ownership.
Andrew’s Lane, Cheshunt. In partnership with Lindhill, we look forward to delivering 8 new homes – 5 for social rent and 3 for shared ownership.
Greenfield Road, Flitton. In partnership with Stonebond, we are developing 12 new homes – 9 for social rent and 3 for shared ownership with expected completion this summer.
Linmere, Houghton Regis, Central Bedfordshire. We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Stonebond Properties to deliver 142 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership at Linmere, a 650-acre urban village in Houghton Regis, Central Bedfordshire.
The Gates, Houghton Regis, Central Bedfordshire. We are delighted to have worked with Jarvis Partnership Homes to purchase this site to deliver 119 affordable homes. Sadly, our development partner, Jarvis Contracting has gone into administration and work has now stopped on site. We are beginning discussions with other partners who will be able to complete the development for us and hope to restart the work as soon as possible. 24-hour security will remain in place on-site until works restart.
Orchard Close, Upper Gravenhurst. This development will provide 53 homes, 18 for social rent and 35 for shared ownership. Most of the homes are almost complete and a show home will be launched in March.
Trap Road, Guilden Morden. In partnership with Peter David Homes, we are developing 8 new homes on this scheme – 4 for social rent and 4 for shared ownership.
St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This development in partnership with Brumor will deliver 94 homes – 30 for social rent and 64 for shared ownership. The flats will be built using LoCaL Homes Eco-150 panels and the remaining houses will be built using their Eco-100 system.
